Charity & Community

,One of the reasons I started my business was so I could be an active member of the community.

This was important to me when we moved to the Barossa as I wanted to get to know the people and the place. I soon discovered that something that makes this place unique is the generous community spirit.

Who wants to wait until retirement to get involved?

Since then, I’ve been involved with in several boards and committees including:

Foundation Barossa – Board member (since 2017) and Secretary (from 2021)

Barossa Vintage Festival Parade –  Committee member 2015 and 2023

Echoes Basketball Club – committee member and Treasurer (2016-2022)

Tanunda Hockey Club – committee member, communications and treasurer (2022-present)

Tanunda Kindy Governing Council – Chair (2015)

I’m a service provider for Regional Development Australia Barossa, Gawler, Light and Adelaide Plains B2B program.

For a small fee, local businesses can access 3 hours of a local service provider (like me).  I provide 2 hours at a reduced rate and one hour free.

This has been a great opportunity to work with a wide range of businesses and build my network. And, I’m supporting new and established businesses to communicate their message, get found online and grow their businesses.

I support several charities and fundraising initiatives both here in the Barossa and around Australia.

I’m proud to be one of the founding donors of the Barossa Women’s Artists Residency which launched in 2023.

I also provide pro bono copywriting and website support to the Play Therapy Foundation.
