AWARDS AND GRANTS

WANT TO BOOST YOUR BUSINESS?

Awards and grants are a great way to showcase and support your business.

Whether you’ve just started, or you’ve been operating for years, there are awards and grants out there for every business.

Entering awards and applying for grants takes time, and that’s where bringing a copywriter, like me in to help.

APPLY FOR A GRANT

Grants help fund your venture. Whether you’re keen to kickstart a new creation or you have a fresh idea to grow your business, extra budget is always welcome.

Winning a grant gives you visibility and more kudos.

What’s not to love?

The reality is – it’s time consuming. Not only seeking out the grants you’re eligible for, but writing the application or proposal with no guarantees.

Don’t let the downsides outweigh the good. I can help you find grants, guide you through the process, write your proposal or edit an application before you submit.

Unfortunately, the complex and competitive nature of grants means I can’t guarantee you’ll be successful. But by working together, we can definitely give it our best shot.

WIN AN AWARD

Entering (and winning) awards gives you a leg-up.

Awards are a great way to:

  • boost your brand exposure and profile
  • drive sales
  • put you ahead of your competition
  • give you extra credibility.

Awards also recognise the hard work and achievements of your employees, attract new talent and help you think about how you can make things even better.

Win win win wouldn’t you say?

There are awards out there to suit businesses of all shapes and sizes. It doesn’t matter what industry you’re in and whether your new or established.

I can’t guarantee you’ll win, but I’ll certainly work with you to give it your best shot.

AWARDS AND RECOGNITION

Guided us and supported us to write our application

We found Angela very communicative and willing to guide and support us with our submission in the 2023 South Australian Tourism Awards.

As volunteer for the organisation, and contributing remotely is never easy. But we managed to overcome the tyranny of distance (for us both) as neither of us were even in Quorn, the home of our business operations, the Pichi Richi Railway Preservation Society.

Looking forward to meeting Angela, in person one day soon, and giving her a VIP tour of our operations.

Found the words to tell my story

I engaged Angela to assist me in preparing my applications for the Ausmumpreneur awards. I chose Angela because I’ve always found it very difficult to tell my story. Her amazing skills enabled my story to be told in words I wouldn’t have been able to find myself.  She was timely, responsive, and eager to talk things through. Angela is a talented copywriter and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone who needed this kind of assistance.

Investing in grant and award applications

Let me be honest.

Applying for grants and entering awards is an investment in your business.

You need to be prepared to invest money and time so I can do your application justice.

Some businesses just bring me in at the end to proof and polish their application.

But if you need more (like research, writing and editing), you need to get in touch as early as possible.

If you’d like to know more,  here’s a blog I wrote about entering business awards.
